Effective October 18, 2026
- Sponsor, Student and Third-Party Gifts: All contributions made by third parties, sponsors, church partners, or through a student’s fundraising are voluntary, irrevocable gifts to AMKENY INC. If the volunteer or student named as the donor’s preference is unable to participate due to visa denial, medical emergency, or personal conflicts, or if AMKENY INC. deems it necessary to cancel or reschedule the trip for safety reasons, these funds cannot be refunded to the donor or participant. Instead, the funds will be safely held as a credit in a designated pool. This credit can be rolled over to support future medical mission deployments or deployed at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors to further the overall exempt health and humanitarian missions of AMKENY INC.
- Self-Paying Volunteers: Participation Contributions are voluntary, irrevocable gifts to AMKENY INC. and are non-refundable, including where AMKENY INC. cancels or reschedules the trip, a visa is denied, or a volunteer withdraws for any other reason, such as a medical emergency or a personal decision. Funds already committed to non-refundable international airline tickets, block lodging deposits, or local Kenyan logistical bookings cannot be recovered. Any unspent funds will be safely held as a credit in a designated pool. This credit can be rolled over to support future medical mission deployments or deployed at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors to further the overall exempt health and humanitarian missions of AMKENY INC.
